As a mother, Karen knows how to make kids feel comfortable and act naturally; as a photographer, she memorializes those moments every parent wishes she or he could get on film but misses because Somebody's got to bring out the cake and light the candles! Karen's talents lie in photographing both children and adults, as well. Her remarkably kind nature which sets kids immediately at ease has the same effect on adults, enabling every person she works with to relax and enjoy the moment--the moment that Karen then captures for them so beautifully.

I was so looking forward to my retirement party (hosted by three close friends - already retired!)! This would be the party where I would be surrounded by ALL the people who were part of my successful 22 year career. One of my dear friends asked Karen Allen Photography to photograph the party! I was so thrilled to know I was going to have tangible memories of this great event!

Mrs. Allen was able to capture everyone (individual/ small & large groups) at the party in both candid and posed shots! Her expertise at focusing made everyone look fabulous! And you didn't even know she was there! What talent!
